Starlite is planning a massive project in Estepona with an estimate investment of 286 million to create an area for large concerts, recording studios and sets for TV and film production.
The Junta de Andalucía has agreed to declare Starlite Music in Estepona of strategic interest. Its execution will create 450 jobs.
The field of action of the internationally known Starlite, with its epicenter for years in Marbella, is expanding. At least this is the intention of its promoters, who also want to bring it to the town of Estepona.
A proposal that has just received the protection of the Andalusian Government, which agreed this Tuesday to declare Starlite Music of Estepona of strategic interest.
According to the details released after the Andalusian Government Council, this initiative will involve an investment of 286 million euros and the creation of 450 jobs.
Starlite Festival's New Project Set to Boost the Local Economy
The project, located in the La Panera area, foresees the construction of The City of Music and The Audiovisual City.
The first of them will have 11 hectares of surface and the creation of a boulevard with a lake, central square, restaurants, artists' area and an auditorium for large musical shows with capacity for 15,000 people.
Likewise, the operation includes the construction of a hotel with capacity for 200 rooms and a conference center, among others.
On the other hand, The Audiovisual City will occupy almost 6 hectares and will be made up of several recording studios and sets of between 1,500 and 3,000 square meters, equipment warehouses and internal service areas.
